2027: EKEOHA CHAIRMAN URGES TRADERS TO OBTAIN PVC AS KEY TO OTTI’S RE-ELECTION
As preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 Abia State governorship election, the Chairman of Ekeoha Shopping Centre Aba, Comrade Emeka Okeke, has charged traders and residents to prioritize the acquisition of their Permanent Voters Card (PVC), describing it as the most important instrument for ensuring the re-election of Governor Alex Chioma Otti come 2027.
Speaking in Aba, the popular market leader noted that while support for Governor Otti continues to grow across Abia State, such goodwill can only translate into electoral victory if supporters are properly armed with their voters cards.
Comrade Okeke emphasized that no amount of verbal endorsement or public declarations would be meaningful without active participation in the electoral process, beginning with PVC registration.
He appealed passionately to Ekeoha traders and all eligible voters in Aba South Local Government Area to take full advantage of the ongoing INEC ward registration and revalidation exercise, which commenced on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.
According to him, “The PVC is the real power to re-elect Governor Alex Otti in 2027. Without it, all the noise about supporting him is useless. If you truly believe in the good works of Governor Alex Otti’s administration, the first step is to go and obtain your voters card.”
The Ekeoha Chairman stressed that the PVC remains the only legal and constitutional tool through which the people can express their support at the polls.
He maintained that Governor Otti has earned a second term through his remarkable performance in road construction and rehabilitation, education, health care delivery, agriculture, security, and regular payment of workers’ salaries.
Comrade Okeke, however, warned that these achievements must be protected with votes, adding that “our votes are our voices, and our PVC is the key that unlocks those votes.”
He assured that the traders of Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba possess enormous voting strength capable of determining the outcome of the 2027 election, but insisted that such strength would only count if every supporter is properly registered.
“The task before us now is simple – get your PVC, update it if necessary, and be ready to vote massively for continuity in Abia State. That is the only sure way to guarantee Governor Otti’s re-election,” he stated.
Comrade Okeke concluded by reaffirming the commitment of Ekeoha traders to mobilize fully for the governor’s second term bid, declaring that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring victory, provided supporters equip themselves with their Permanent Voters Cards.
