Eze-elect Promises to Lead Isiala Ukwu Amato Autonomous Community with Fear of God

Chief Samuel Uba, the Eze-elect of Isiala Ukwu Amato Autonomous Community in Obingwa local government area of Abia State comprising three villages namely Umuobiakwa, Amapu Umu Nwulu and Amuzu Ohanze has promised to pilot the affairs of the community to greater height with the fear of God.

He stated this in a chat with newsmen during the burial of Chyke Fusion at his Umuobiakwa country home on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

He described the death of Chyke Fusion as a monumental loss to Umuobiakwa, Ukwa Ngwa land, Abia State, Ndigbo and the nation at large.

He said that he was a great musician whose exceptional renditions contributed immensely to the growth of the nation’s music industry.

He prayed God to grant his family and others who knew him the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and prayed for the repose of his soul in the bosom of God.

The young, amiable, ebullient, intelligent, indefatigable and God-fearing Eze-elect also bared his mind on his choice and agenda for the people.

The Eze-elect who hails from Amuzu Ohanze described his choice as the will of the people.

According to him, it is now their turn to produce the traditional ruler of the community as enshrined in their constitution, which stipulates that there shall be rotational order of succession to the royal stool of Isiala Ukwu Amato Autonomous Community in order of seniority.

He disclosed that Umuobiakwa produced the first traditional ruler, followed by Amapu Umu Nwulu before getting to them now.

He thanked the people for choosing him as their Eze-elect out of so many other eminently qualified persons and promised not to disappoint the honour and confidence reposed in him.

He promised to serve them with humility, honesty and fear of God as well as to deploy his all for the betterment of the people and the community.

The Eze-elect assured that his reign would usher in peace and prosperity in the community stressing that development would only come where there is peace.

He promised to carry the people along in piloting the affairs of the community and urged them to continue to remain peaceful and law-abiding.
