The inauguration of the executive members of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors, Ekeoha Chapter, Aba, held on Friday, February 13, 2027, was a grand and historic event marked by pomp, fanfare, and an unprecedented turnout of supporters and dignitaries from across Abia State.
The colourful ceremony drew prominent personalities of the movement, including the founder, Hon. Engr. Leo Otti, Hon. High Chief Sylvester A. Iyioku, Comrade Emeka Okeke (MECON GLOBAL), the Chairman of Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba, High Chief Okey Nwosu, Dr. Obinna Chieugo, Princess Joy Chidinma Ihejiamaizu, and several other distinguished stakeholders.
The occasion was chaired by HRM, Eze Gabriel Chimerenma Mba (Onwa 1), the revered Eze Ndigbo and Eze Ndi Abia State in Senegal, whose presence underscored the significance of the event.
In his address, HRM Eze Gabriel Chimerenma Mba expressed deep satisfaction at being invited to preside over what he described as a historic and forward-looking gathering.
He stated that his attendance was a demonstration of his unwavering belief in the leadership and performance of Governor Alex Otti.
According to the royal father, Governor Otti has made Abia State proud in all ramifications, transforming the state beyond imagination within a short period in office.
He emphasized that the scale and speed of development under Otti’s administration surpassed what previous administrations achieved over a span of 24 years.
He particularly highlighted the governor’s outstanding performance in road construction and rehabilitation, describing him as nonpareil in infrastructural renewal.
Beyond roads, he commended the administration’s milestone achievements in healthcare, education, security, and agriculture.
He also lauded the prompt and consistent payment of workers’ salaries, pensions, and gratuities to retired civil servants—an accomplishment that has restored dignity and financial stability to many families across the state.
HRM Mba noted that such sterling performance is a clear testament that, if given another mandate in 2027, Governor Otti would elevate Abia State to enviable heights.
He expressed optimism that with continuity in governance, the state would witness accelerated development comparable to global economic hubs, asserting that opportunities and facilities often sought abroad could be realized within Abia.
The monarch urged all eligible Abians and residents of the state, to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and prepare to participate actively in the 2027 elections to ensure the continuation of good governance.
He stressed that civic participation remains the most effective means of sustaining progress and development.
On a personal note, HRM Mba affirmed his readiness and capacity to mobilize an unprecedented number of voters in support of Governor Otti’s re-election, pledging to deploy his influence and networks within and outside the nation toward that cause.
He concluded by congratulating the newly inaugurated executive of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors, Ekeoha Chapter, charging them to intensify grassroots mobilization, particularly among traders and stakeholders within the Ekeoha community, to ensure massive participation in the 2027 elections in support of Governor Alex Otti, whom he described as a performing and transformational leader deserving of continuity.
