HRM King Larry Agwu Confers Prestigious Chieftaincy Titles On ACP Ikechukwu Okoro, Dr. Emeka Emmanuel, Dr. Aloy Umoh, Others

It was a moment of joy and splendour as HRM Eze King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu, the traditional ruler of Ajata na Igu, Oboro in Ikwuano local government area of Abia State conferred prestigious Chieftaincy titles on well-deserving personalities from far and near on the occasion of their 2024 Thanksgiving Ceremony and New Yam Festival.

The epoch-making occasion took place at his magnificent Palace on Saturday, September 28, 2024 amid jubilation.

Some of those honoured were Assistant Commissioner of Police, Rivers State Police Command, Okoro Ikechukwu Sylvanus.

He was ably represented by former Executive Chairman of Isuikwuato local government area, Hon. High Chief Chima Agbaeze.

Speaking after receiving the Chieftaincy title of Nwanne di na Mba 1 of Ajata na Igu autonomous community, Oboro, Ikwuano in appreciation of his tremendous contributions to the development of the community, the entire people of Oboro, Abia State, the nation and humanity on behalf of his friend, Hon. High Chief Chima Agbaeze appreciated HRM King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu for the honour done ACP Okoro Ikechukwu Sylvanus.

He said that the Chieftaincy title would spur him to do more for him and the entire community.

The erstwhile Isuikwuato council boss extolled HRM King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu for his quintessential rulership over the years saying that he has been a role model to his fellow traditional rulers and constant source of inspiration to many people within and outside Abia State.

The amiable, young, handsome, eloquent and popular ex-council boss wished the royal father long life, good health and prosperity.

On his part, Dr. Emeka Emmanuel expressed profound gratitude to God for the Conferment of ‘Ugwu Mba’ 1 of Ajata na Igu autonomous community, Oboro, Ikwuano on him in recognition of his numerous achievements within and outside the community.

The illustrious son of Ntalakwu, Oboro thanked HRM King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu and the entire community for finding him worthy of the outstanding recognition.

He assured that the award would make him to be more committed to the well-being of the people and development of the community.

Responding after his decoration as ‘Enyi Oma’ I of Ajata na Igu autonomous community, Dr. Aloy Jerome Umoh thanked HRM King Larry Ogbonnaya Agwu for the honour bestowed on him.

He said that the honour would inspire him to sustain his good relationship with him and the entire community.

The occasion was well attended despite the downpour that day and climaxed with a grand reception.
