The President General of All Ngwa Cultural Organization (ANCO), Elder Dr. Sunny Nwosu was among the illustrious sons of Ngwa Land honoured by Oha Ukwa Ngwa Congress Inc at its End of Year Party held at No. 1, Industrial Layout, Aba (ANCO Hall) on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
Presenting the meritorious award to him, the National President of Oha Ukwa Ngwa Congress Inc, Barr. C. C. Emelogu eulogized Elder Dr. Sunny Nwosu’s sterling leadership qualities adding that the award is in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the upliftment of Oha Ukwa Ngwa Congress Inc and the entire Ngwa Land.
Responding, Elder Dr. Sunny Nwosu thanked Barr. C. C. Emelogu and the entire members of Oha Ukwa Congress Inc for the honour done him.
He described the award as the greatest honour done to him by the entire Ukwa Ngwa people and promised to continue to cherish it all the days of his life.
Elder Dr. Sunny Nwosu commended the Oha Ukwa Ngwa Congress Inc for their total commitment to the realization of the Ukwa Ngwa Struggle over the years.
He described them as a selfless group totally committed to the good of Ukwa Ngwa people.
He also called them the soldiers of Ukwa Ngwa nation adding that no nation can stand without soldiers.
He assured them that All Ngwa Cultural Organization (ANCO) under his watch would continue to support them.
He lauded the group for producing prominent personalities in Abia State and the nation at large adding that they would produce more and more in the years ahead.
He urged them to sustain the prevailing peace and unity in Ukwa Ngwa Land and wished them long life, good health, prosperity and happy Yuletide and New Year celebrations.
Speaking after receiving his own award, Comrade Okechukwu David, an illustrious son of Ngwa Land and renowned Aba-based businessman expressed profound gratitude to God for the honour done him in recognition of his tremendous contributions to Oha Ukwa Ngwa Congress Inc over the years.
He extolled them for their untiring efforts in bringing the people of Ukwa Ngwa together under one umbrella. He charged them to remain united and committed to their cause.
He appealed to other sons and daughters of Ukwa Ngwa Land who have not joined them to do so in order to contribute their own quota to the development of Ukwa Ngwa Land.

The End of Year Party was a huge success. The National President of Oha Ukwa Ngwa Congress, Barr. C. C. Nwogu thanked God for preserving their lives from January till December, 2023.
He prayed that God would see them through the end of December 2023 and usher them into the New Year.
The get-together climaxed with great merriment.
