Renowned Aba-based business mogul and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Oliver FES International Agency (Nig.) Ltd and chairman of Zone 1, Eziukwu Road Market, Aba, Chief Oliver Obiora Ezedo has lauded the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR) for his giant strides in the state within two months in office, especially in the areas of road rehabilitation, civil service reforms, prompt payment of salaries among others.
The Awgbu, Anambra State-born successful businessman expressed delight at the emergence of Dr. Alex Otti as the Governor of Abia State in the 2023 election.
He described his victory as divine noting that he won the 2015 and 2019 governorship elections in the state but was robbed of victory on both occasions.
He said that Dr. Alex Otti’s administration started on a very promising note by laying a solid foundation for the rapid development of the state and expressed optimism that his administration would take Abia State to enviable heights.
He praised him for the on-going reconstruction of Cemetery Road, Aba leading into Eziukwu Road Market, Aba beginning from No. 1, Port Harcourt Road/Asa Road/Ngwa Road and terminating at the railway line as well as other roads in Aba including Okigwe Road, Jubilee Road, SAMEK, Bata, Railway among others.
He said that he would be so happy any day work on Port Harcourt Road, Aba would commence and appealed to Dr. Alex Otti to come to their rescue stressing that they have suffered so much over the years because of the deplorable road.
According to him, their customers now go to buy goods from other places because of the impassable road thus leading to low patronage and down-turn in fortunes.
He described Dr. Alex Otti as a listening governor and seasoned technocrat who is poised to enhance the lot of the people and expressed confidence that their cry would draw his attention to Port Harcourt Road, Aba very soon.
He pledged his unalloyed loyalty to his administration and called on all Abians to join hands with him to actualize Abia of their dream under his able leadership.
Chief Oliver Ezedo disclosed that he accepted the chairmanship of Zone 1 in Eziukwu Road Market, Aba as a way of contributing his own quota to the success of Dr. Alex Otti’s administration based on his conviction that he has come to rebuild Abia and give the people a sense of belonging and better future.
The renowned sports enthusiast, great lawn-tennis player and member of Aba Sports Club and Recreation Club, Aba respectively urged Abians to be patient with Dr. Alex Otti’s administration and continue to pray for his success adding that Abia State would witness tremendous transformation in the areas of massive infrastructural development, adequate security, improved education system, sound health sector among others under his quality and people-oriented administration.
