Ekeoha Chairman Receives New Aba Area Commander in Grand Style
The chairman of Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba, Comrade Emeka Okeke played host to the new Area Commander of Aba Area Command, Ajayi Kayode in his office at the popular Chief Barth Azubuike Madubuko ultra-modern Secretariat on Thursday, January 18, 2024.
The executive members and Grand Patron of Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba Chief Barth Azubuike Madubuko (JP) joined Comrade Emeka Okeke in receiving him.
In his remarks, Comrade Emeka Okeke congratulated the new Area Commander on his posting to Aba Area Command as well as his visit to Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba adding that his visit would go a very long way in fostering a cordial and lasting relationship between them and the Police.
He assured the Area Commander of their unalloyed support to him so as to succeed in his new position.
Comrade Emeka Okeke appreciated the Grand Patron of Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba, Chief Barth Azubuike Madubuko (JP) for joining him to welcome the new Area Commander.
He informed the Area Commander that the Secretariat where they received him was built by Chief Barth Azubuike Madubuko (JP) with his personal resources during his tenure as the first and only executive chairman of the market adding that they are following his giant footsteps.
He wished the Area Commander a successful and impactful tenure and assured him that they would return his visit.
On his part, Chief Barth Azubuike Madubuko (JP) also commended the Area Commander for his visit and assured him of their total support to enable him succeed.
He said that during his tenure Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba was adjudged the most peaceful and cleanest market in Abia State and he gave resounding kudos to the incumbent chairman, Comrade Emeka Okeke for sustaining peace in the market as well as keeping it clean at all times.
In his response, the new Area Commander, Kayode Ajayi said that the visit was part of his familiarization tour of the Aba Area Command and having assumed duties, he came to pay homage to the leadership of Ekeoha Shopping Centre, Aba.
He thanked them for the warm reception accorded him as well as for promoting peace in the market.
He assured them that he would partner them to ensure a safer Aba where the people would go about their lawful business without fear of any kind and urged them to report any harassment, intimidation or coercion against them by the police to him adding that he would respond without fail.
