HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba Celebrates Coronation in Grand Style

The epoch-making coronation of HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba attracts a galaxy of distinguished personalities from far and near

Friday, November 24, 2023 was a memorable day in the annals of Umuiwoor autonomous community in Isiala Ngwa North local government area of Abia State as the people, friends, in-laws, traditional rulers, the clergy, business moguls and other distinguished personalities from far and near turned out in their numbers to witness the epoch-making coronation of HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba, the Agalaba 11 of Umuiwoor autonomous community in Isiala Ngwa North local government area.

The ground-breaking coronation held at Nkwonwa-Akpuda Onuwell, Umuamaro in an atmosphere of peace, love, unity and conviviality.

The grand occasion was ably coordinated by renowned master of ceremonies, Isaac Daniel Ahuruezemma.

It commenced with an opening prayer and progressed swiftly from one stage to another till the end.

It featured dedication of the throne to God, short speeches, royal dance, paying of homage to HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba by various villages, groups, individuals/presentation of gifts and conferment of Chieftaincy titles on well-deserving individuals within and outside the community.

In his speech, HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba expressed profound gratitude to God for making the event a huge success.

He appreciated the people for choosing him as their traditional ruler and promised not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him.

He also thanked his esteemed guests and others for gracing the occasion in their numbers.

He promised to serve the people with the fear of God and carry them along in piloting the affairs of the community as well as to attract development to the community and ensure steady atmosphere of peace, security and progress.

He urged the people to be law-abiding and support the present administration of the state under the leadership of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR) who he said has done so well within a very short period in office.

He maintained that he would sustain the customs and traditions of the people.

He commended the youth for their support and encouraged them not to be far from him.

He pointed out that the community is in dire need of development and called on all the illustrious sons and daughters of the community both at home and in the Diaspora to support every programme aimed at developing Umuiwoor autonomous community adding that Umuiwoor is the only home they have and must work to develop it.

He appreciated the services of the local security volunteers over the years adding that they need to be upgraded.

He appealed to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR) to come to their rescue by reconstructing the only road leading to the community, which is devasted by erosion menace.

Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of chieftaincy titles on well deserving individuals including Chief Sydney Anayochukwu Obioha (Chinemeze 1), Chief Chimezie Kanu (Nnanyereugo 1), Comrade Prince Chinweikpe Clement (Ebubedike 1) and Chief Nduka Ebiogwu (Osisi Ngwu).

Thereafter, all roads lead to his palace for an unforgettable reception.

HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba feted the mammoth guests to sumptuous cuisines and choice drinks.

The coronation was a huge success and attracted the presence of so many traditional rulers from far and near including HRM Eze Dandy Ogalabu, HRM Eze Dr. Uchechi Aliche, HRH Eze Blessing Ekpendu among others.

HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba is a renowned electrical engineer and successful businessman.

He is the Chief Executive Officer of B. C. Nwafor Electrical-dealers in concrete poles, electrical accessories, transformers and a lot more.

He is happily married to Ugoeze Gift Amamba (Nneoha of Umuiwoor autonomous community) and Ihe Onyeze, Ugoeze Chisom Amamba and their marriage is blessed with lovely children.

Chief Sydney Anayochukwu Obioha (Chinemeze 1 of Umuiwoor)

I am from Orlu local government area of Imo State. I am into Real Estate business. I am based in Aba. HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba is my very good friend. He is humane, intelligent, eminently qualified and well prepared to serve his people with the fear of God. The people are very happy with him since his emergence as their new traditional ruler. Today, he is celebrating his coronation he decided to confer Chieftaincy titles on some well deserving individuals including me. The Chieftaincy title he conferred on me is ‘Chinemeze 1 of Umuiwoor’. I am so happy and grateful to him for the honour done me. It will ginger me to do more for the development of the community and to identify with them in all that they do because I am now part and parcel of the community. I wish him long life, good health, wisdom and riches. I urge him to rule his people with the fear of God and make peace the focal point of his rulership.

Chief Chimezie Kanu
(Nnanyereugo 1 of Umuiwoor)

I am from Osokwa in Osisioma Ngwa local government area. I am popularly known as ‘Mezie Abia’. I am a businessman. I deal in electrical accessories at Ariaria International Market, Aba. I am also the personal assistant to Comrade Ozoekwe Chikadibia, the chairman of Ariaria International Market, Aba. HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba is my friend and he decided to honour me today at his coronation with the prestigious chieftaincy title of ‘Nnanyereugo 1’ of Umuiwoor. I am so happy and grateful to him for the honour done me. It is a dream come true. I want to assure HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba that his coronation today marks the beginning of a new dawn in Umuiwoor autonomous community because of his exposure and awesome abilities. I hail from Umuakpara in Osisioma Ngwa local government area. I am an interior designer. I stay at Ariaria International Market, Aba. I appreciate HRH Eze Christian Ahamefula Amamba for the great honour done me. The prestigious chieftaincy title of Ebubedike 1 of Umuiwoor conferred on me would ginger me to do more for the development of the community. I am an indigene of Osina in Imo State. I stay in Port Harcourt. I am a businessman and I deal in electrical accessories.
