HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court Marks Coronation in Grand Style
Iyi Ukwu Autonomous Community Primary School in Osisioma Ngwa local government area of Abia State was agog on Friday, January 5, 2024 as top government officials, notable politicians, captains of industry, religious leaders, traditional rulers and other high profile personalities from far and near came to witness the ground-breaking coronation of HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court, the Iyi 11 of Iyi Ukwu autonomous community.
There was no dull moment right from the beginning till the end. Immediately after the opening prayer the occasion progressed swiftly from one stage to another under the distinguished chairmanship of HRH Eze Blessing Ekpendu, Eku 11 of Ibeku Ngwa autonomous and vice chairman, Osisioma Ngwa Traditional Rulers Council.
In his opening remarks, the chairman of the occasion commended the people of Iyi Ukwu autonomous community for choosing HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court as their traditional ruler describing him as an epitome of humility, candour, diligence, godliness and selfless service.
He prayed God to grant him wisdom and courage to lead his people well.
In his maiden address, HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court thanked God for making the occasion a huge success.
He appreciated the people for choosing him as their traditional ruler and promised not to disappoint them.
He promised to carry everybody along in the affairs of the community and make God the bedrock of his reign.
The young, handsome, humble, forthright, dynamic and visionary traditional ruler called on all his people both at home and in the Diaspora to join hands with him in taking the community to the next level.
He lauded the present administration of Abia State for its monumental achievements within a short time in office and assured the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti of the total support of his community under his watch.
He appreciated all those who attended his coronation for their love and support and wished them safe journey back to their various destinations.
The ceremony featured conferment of chieftaincy titles on some well-deserving personalities including Onyenkwere Michael who bagged the chieftaincy title of Omeka Ozuo Oha I of Iyi Ukwu autonomous community, Chief Princewill Nwogwugwu Okwandu (Agu ji Mgbada Ahu Eze 1) among others.
The ceremony was a huge success and attracted the presence of Chief K. O. Mgbeahuru, Rt. Hon. Bishop Kennedy Njoku, HRH Eze Young Ajuzieogu and his lovely wife, Ugoeze Rose Ajuzieogu, HRH Eze Allwell Ujoatu, HRH Eze John Chimezie Azuh, HRH Eze Bishop King Otuka (JP), Mazi Stephen Nwaejie, Chief Kelechi Gabriel (Utara mmiri tajuru iko) among others.
HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court was given staff of office on August 18, 2020 as the second traditional ruler of Iyi Ukwu autonomous community, which was created on December 25, 2001.

Chief Chiogwaraonye Nwosu (aka Ochi War)
I am from Nnoyi in Isiala Ngwa South local government area of Abia State. I am the vice chairman of Otu Obi Social Club of Nigeria, Osisioma/Isiala Ngwa South Branch) while the traditional ruler, HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court is our chairman. He is a very good man and eminently qualified to rule his people. His coronation today is a thing of joy and thanksgiving to all of us and I assure members of his community that he would not disappoint their expectations in any ramification. They should support him to take the community to greater height.
Chief Onyenkwere Michael (Omeka Ozuo Oha I of Iyi Ukwu autonomous community)
I am very happy for the chieftaincy title conferred on me. I promise to continue to contribute my own quota to the development of Iyi Ukwu autonomous community. I pray that God will continue to grant our traditional ruler, HRH Eze Christopher Chigozie Court wisdom, knowledge and courage to stand on the path of truth, justice and righteousness at all times as well as good health, long life and prosperity.
Chief Princewill Nwogwugwu Okwandu (Agu ji Mgbada Ahu Eze)
I hail from Azuowu Umuaro in Mgboko Umuanunu autonomous community, Obingwa local government area. I am so happy for the chieftaincy title conferred on me. It will ginger me to do more for the community and mankind.
Ikeabuikem Ujoatu
I am the chairman of Able Men Cooperative Multi-purpose Society, Osisioma Ngwa chapter. The traditional ruler is our member and there is no way we would be found wanting or absent in his coronation. So we are here to identify with him on the auspicious occasion. He is a very nice man and he will continue to rule his community with the fear of God. I pray God to grant him wisdom, long life and prosperity.
