Two Years in Office: Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors Extol Gov. Otti’s Giant Strides in Abia State
Members of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors has extolled the giant strides of His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti (OFR) in Abia State within his two years in office.
According to the wave-making pro-group founded by Engr. Leo Obioma Otti, Dr. Alex Otti left no one in doubt right from day one about his determination to putting an end to all the rot in Abia State in his bid to restore her lost glory, especially Aba-the commercial hub of the state and SME capital of the nation.
They expressed great satisfaction that Dr. Alex Chioma Otti has continued to make good all his campaign promises since he mounted the saddle two years ago through massive infrastructural development across the state, improved quality of education, provision of quality healthcare services, prompt payment of workers salary/pension arrears, adequate security, sanitation among others adding that they would not relent in creating awareness of his good works in all the nooks and crannies of Abia State as well as mobilizing overwhelming support for his people-oriented administration.
They noted that there is a tremendous change in the manner things were done in the state now unlike in the past stressing that his two years in office is far better than PDP’s 24 years leadership of the state.
They gave him kudos adding that he has really made them proud and carved a niche for himself in the political leadership of the state and beyond.
They enumerated some of his remarkable achievements in the past two years in office such as the ground-breaking completion and commissioning of the six-lane Ossah–Mission Hill Road, Umuahia renamed Aguiyi Ironsi Boulevard including the Umuahia–Uzuakoli-Akara-Alayi-Abiriba-Ohafia Road, which was commissioned by former President of the nation, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo while the long-abandoned Port Road, Aba awarded to legendary Construction Giants, Julius Berger would be commissioned this month to mark his second year in office among others.
In a chat with newsmen, some members of the group bared their minds on Dr. Alex Chioma Otti’s quality leadership and monumental achievements in the state adding that he has proved his detractors and naysayers in the state wrong both in deeds and utterances.
Speaking, the coordinator of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors, Hon. High Chief Sylvester Iyioku (a.k.a. Shine) said that the group is highly impressed with Dr. Alex Otti’s two years in office describing it as a new dawn in the political leadership of Abia State since the return to civil rule to the nation in 1999.
The illustrious son of Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South local government area of Abia State, renowned philanthropist, business mogul, estate management consultant, oil magnate and Labour Party chieftain in Abia State expressed joy with the massive transformation agenda of Dr. Alex Chioma Otti in the state.
He gave him resounding kudos for changing the narrative in Abia State and putting to an end the era of profligacy and sharing of money belonging to the state to few individuals.
He described his victory in the 2023 election as divine adding that Dr. Alex Otti has really made the people of Abia State proud in all ramifications, especially in prompt payment of workers salary/pension arrears and clearing backlog of salaries owed civil servants in the state adding that he has been so wonderful in terms of massive road construction and reconstruction, which has earned him the sobriquet, ‘the Ururuka and Chief Sam Mbakwe’ of this generation.
He expressed optimism that the state would witness more transformations in his third year in office and urged Abians to support his administration by paying their taxes and other government approved levies as at when due to enable the government to do more for the people.
In a similar vein, Hon. Chief Princewill Chigozie Nwosu, the Director on Security, Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors applauded Dr. Alex Chioma Otti for all his good works in the state adding that the state has witnessed phenomenal developmental strides within his two years in office.
He commended him for the reconstruction of the long-abandoned Port Harcourt Road, Aba and many other roads across the state including his operation fill-up all the potholes in Aba and Umuahia, which has made the numerous potholes on most of the roads in the state a thing of the past.
He described Dr. Alex Chioma Otti as a legendary pacesetter whose achievements would be so difficult to equal or surpass.
He passed a vote of confidence on him assuring him that his re-election in 2027 is a fait accompli because of his good works in the state.
Contributing, Samuel Chimaobim Madukoma who doubles as Abia Central Youth leader of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors and the personal assistant to the state coordinator, Hon. High Chief Sylvester Iyioku said that Dr. Alex Chioma Otti has done so well in the state since he assumed office.
The popular and agile chief security officer of Government Cottage Hospital, Abayi, Aba lauded Dr. Alex Otti for the on-going reconstruction of the hospital, which he said had been abandoned for so many years.
He rated Dr. Alex Otti’s administration so high in terms of security adding that they longer hear of kidnapping anywhere in the state again.
He expressed optimism that Abians would continue to witness many more good things under his watch and urged them to sustain their unalloyed support to his pragmatic administration adding that his re-election is assured.
On his part Amanze Stanley Chinedu, the coordinator of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors, Osisioma Ngwa LGA and a staff of Government Cottage Hospital Abayi, Aba said that Dr. Alex Chioma Otti has done them proud.
According to the amiable, young and indefatigable leader, this is the first time they are seeing such a governor in the state who is determined to work for the people.
He commended him for his zero tolerance for indiscipline and filthy environment adding that everywhere in Aba is now very neat.
He declared that there is no vacancy in Government House, Umuahia in 2027 stressing that Dr. Alex Otti is the only person everyone is going to support.
He prayed God to bless him more abundantly so that Abians would continue to witness more good things in the state.
Nurse Joy Chidinma Ihejiamaizu, the daughter of the late HRM Eze Gaius Ihejiamaizu and a staff of Hospital Management Board, Abia State who is presently working at Government Cottage Hospital, Abayi, Aba expressed profound gratitude to God for giving them Dr. Alex Chioma Otti as governor adding that he has transformed the entire state within two years in office.
According to the amiable, beautiful, eloquent and indefatigable health worker, Abia State has literally witnessed a revolution in all the sectors, especially healthcare.
She said that they have never had it so good before now and gave Dr. Alex Chioma Otti kudos for his remarkable transformation of the health sector in the state by renovating and retrofitting the major General Hospitals in Abia North, Abia Central and Abia South.
She disclosed that if you visit Aba General Hospital today you would notice lots of improvements and also receive immediate attention.
She pointed out that Dr. Alex Otti has done massive employment of health workers such as medical laboratory scientists, physiotherapists, nutritionists among others and also determined to do more by ensuring that the primary healthcare in the state is up-to-date in terms of routine immunization and other palliative healthcare services.
She equally lauded him for the on-going reconstruction of Government Cottage Hospital, Abayi, Aba where she works and wished him long life, good health and more wisdom as he pilots the affairs of the state to greater heights.
In their separate speeches, other members of Dr. Alex Otti Ambassadors including Comrade A. I. Mgbeke (BoT chairman), Dr. Obinna Okugo (Deputy chairman, BoT), Chris Echendu (state executive), Juliet Opara, Ibeawuchi Oliver, Eze Emegharibe and Nurse Emmanuel Blessing thanked the performing Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti for his giant strides across the state and prayed that God would continue to give him long life, good health, more wisdom and enormous resources to continue to perform wonders in the state to the glory of God and betterment of the people.
