Chris Akomas Urges Nigerians to Remain Patient

Former Deputy Governor of Abịa State, Comrade Chris Akomas has called on Nigerians to remain patient in the face of the prevailing economic hardship across the nation emphasizing that the federal government is making spirited efforts to alleviate their suffering and make life comfortable for all.

Speaking in an interview at his magnificent country home in Nenu, Obingwa local government area of Abia State, the erstwhile Federal Commissioner representing Abịa State at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission noted that the country is going through reformation for proper progress and sustainable democratic system, and given the unrelenting efforts of the Federal Government in ensuring food security and good governance, there is need for everyone to be patient and work together for progress of the nation.

Comrade Akomas, while urging Nigerians to support and pray for those in authority at all times, posited that there is joy in sharing and tasked all to share a little of what they have with others.

He thanked God for ushering them into the New Year and expressed optimism that it would bring more dividends of democracy to all and sundry.

He urged them to continue serving God in truth and righteousness as well as loving one another adding that a brighter future awaits them.
