BLESSING NWAGBA MOBILIZES ABIA SOUTH WOMEN FOR TINUBU’S 2027 RE-ELECTION
A former governorship candidate of Abia State and APC 2027 Senatorial Aspirant for Abia South, Hon. Dame Blessing Nwagba, PhD, has reaffirmed her commitment to mobilizing women across the senatorial district for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Nwagba stated this while participating in the APC Women Stakeholders Mobilization and Empowerment Campaign Roll-Out, with the theme, “From Reforms to Prosperity, One Voice, One Movement, One Choice, One Mandate 2027,” convened by the First Lady of Nigeria, Distinguished Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre (BATICC), Abuja, on October 5, 2026.
The top APC chieftain, who was also the party’s senatorial candidate for Abia South in the 2023 general elections, described the initiative as a significant platform for promoting women’s inclusion, mobilization and empowerment across the country.
Nwagba expressed strong support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, saying that the President had demonstrated what she described as bold and visionary leadership since assuming office on May 29, 2023.

She cited the Renewed Hope Agenda and its economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy and the unification of the foreign exchange market, as major steps aimed at repositioning the Nigerian economy.
According to her, other notable interventions of the administration include the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP), which provides access to affordable consumer credit; the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which has expanded access to higher education; major road and infrastructure projects; agricultural and healthcare interventions; the new national minimum wage; and social investment programmes.
She also commended the Federal Government’s efforts towards local government autonomy and security reforms, describing them as important measures for strengthening governance and development at the grassroots.
Nwagba further highlighted the administration’s massive infrastructure drive, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, Sokoto-Badagry Highway and other major road projects across the country.

She specially commended the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, for what she described as her unwavering support for the President and her complementary interventions through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).
She noted that the initiative had continued to impact women, youths, the elderly and vulnerable Nigerians through various empowerment programmes, scholarships, agricultural support and healthcare outreaches.
The former two-term member of the Abia State House of Assembly described the First Lady as a “true mother of the nation,” stressing that her initiatives had provided additional support to Nigerians, particularly vulnerable groups.

Nwagba further declared her readiness to intensify mobilization among women in Abia South in support of the APC and President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
She said her commitment to the party remained unwavering and urged women and other stakeholders in Abia South to support the administration’s development agenda.
She expressed confidence that sustained mobilization and grassroots engagement would strengthen the APC’s presence in Abia South and across the state.
“I remain committed to mobilizing Abia South women for APC and for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027,” she stated.

Nwagba, who is also the South-East Coordinator of the International Society of Substance Use Professionals (ISSUP), urged party faithful and supporters of the administration to remain united and focused as the country moves towards the 2027 elections.
She concluded by reaffirming her loyalty to the APC and her commitment to supporting programmes and policies she believes will advance the development of Nigeria.
