2024 Abia LG Election: Amasator Ward 3 Endorses Hon. Chief Chidi Agu As Sole Chairmanship Candidate for Osisioma Ngwa LGA
The victory of Hon. Chief Chidi Chris Agu, the YPP Chairmanship Candidate for Osisioma Ngwa LGA in the November 2, 2024 local government election in Abia State now looks like a fait accompli following his unanimous adoption across the length and breadth of Osisioma Ngwa LGA
Amasator Ward 3 in Osisioma Ngwa local government area of Abia State stood still for Hon. Chief Chidi Chris Agu, the YPP Chairmanship Candidate for Osisioma Ngwa LGA in the November 2, 2024 Abia State local government election and his Total Liberation Campaign Organization on Wednesday, October 29, 2024 during a ward rally held at Abayi Umuocham Primary School, Abayi.
The ground-breaking rally attracted the presence of notable politicians, local government/ward leaders, party stakeholders, captains of industry, religious leaders, women, youths and others from far and near.
According to the organizers, the large turnout of the people was a demonstration of their love and total support for the chairmanship bid of Hon. Chief Chidi Chris Agu.
The ward leaders, stakeholders and the people of Amasator Ward 3 affirmed their trust in his ability to pilot the affairs of Osisioma Ngwa LGA well and endorsed him as their sole chairmanship candidate in the November 2, 2024 local government election saying that his victory is assured.
In his remarks, the Director General of Total Liberation Campaign Organization and Deputy Mayor of Osisioma Ngwa local government area, Barr. Young Ngwaziem described Hon. Chief Chris Agu as eminently qualified to pilot the affairs of Osisioma Ngwa LGA to greater height and appealed to the people to vote for him en masse adding that his victory would occasion so many good things in Osisioma Ngwa LGA.
In his speech, his running mate and former TC Chairman of Osisioma Ngwa LGA, Hon. Chief Ugochukwu Victor Nwogu appreciated the people of Amasator Ward 3 for the rousing reception accorded them as well as their unanimous adoption of Hon. Chief Chidi Chris Agu as their sole chairmanship candidate in the November 2, 2024 local government election.
He told them that his victory would occasion a brighter future in their lives, a new era of responsive, inclusive grassroots leadership and rapid development of Osisioma Ngwa LGA.
He described Amasator Ward 3 as very large with up to 100 polling units and expressed optimism that with their overwhelming support that their victory is assured.
In his response, the YPP Chairmanship Candidate for Osisioma Ngwa LGA in the November 2, 2024 local government election in Abia State, Chief Hon. Chidi Chris Agu thanked the people for turning out in their numbers as well as their unanimous support for his chairmanship bid.
He appealed to them to vote for him massively on Saturday, November 2, 2024 and promised that he would not disappoint their expectations.
He assured the people that he would serve them honestly and diligently with the fear of God.
He regretted that so many things have dilapidated in Osisioma Ngwa local government area over the years because of maladministration and assured that he would turn things around as soon as he mounts the saddle by the grace of God.
He promised to carry everybody along in piloting the affairs of Osisioma Ngwa LGA and to work hand-in-hand with the councillors to ensure that whatever is due to all the wards or communities gets to the people adding that no ward or community would be left out.
Highlight of the occasion was the presentation of machete and wrapper to Hon. Chief Chidi Chris Agu by the people.
