ECHEZONA TAKES OTTI’S EDUCATION REVOLUTION TO CLASSROOMS, LAUNCHES MASSIVE SCHOOL OUTREACH ACROSS ABIA
In a move that further underscores the growing public support for Governor Alex Chioma Otti’s educational revolution, the Echezona Street Vanguard for Governor Alex Chioma Otti has unveiled an ambitious grassroots educational outreach programme aimed at directly impacting pupils and students across Abia State.
Beginning on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, members of the fast expanding political movement will storm selected primary and secondary schools within and outside Aba to distribute exercise books and other essential writing materials to hundreds of learners, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to quality education while ensuring that no child is left behind.
The initiative was announced in a statement issued by the State Chairman of Echezona, Hon. Michael Chijioke Amaku, popularly known as MC BOSS, whose rallying slogan, “Echezona, Uche Anyi Di Ya,” has become synonymous with the organization’s grassroots mobilization efforts.
Describing the programme as a practical demonstration of support for Governor Otti’s people-oriented policies, Hon. Amaku said the outreach was designed to complement the state’s educational reforms by easing the burden on parents and inspiring pupils and students to pursue excellence in their academic endeavours.
He disclosed that members of the organization, founded by Fr. Christian Uchenna Anokwuru, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Policy and Intervention, would visit Community Primary School, Nenu, Obingwa; St. James Model School, 44 Ukaegbu Road, Ogbor Hill, Aba; Freedom Word International Academy, 11 Okpu Umobo Road, Aba; Bualler Height Academy; St. Ambrose School, Omoba Road, Ogbor Hill, Aba; Osusu Primary School, Osusu Road, Aba; Eziobu Primary School, Aba North; Constitution Primary School, Aba South; Clifford Road Primary School and several other schools to distribute educational materials.
According to him, the gesture goes beyond the distribution of exercise books and writing materials. It is a deliberate investment in the future of Abia’s children and a demonstration that education remains one of the strongest pillars upon which the New Abia is being built.
Hon. Amaku explained that the philosophy behind Echezona, which translates to “Do Not Forget,” is to preserve the memory of transformational leadership by constantly reminding the people of where the state was before the emergence of Governor Alex Chioma Otti (OFR) and the remarkable progress recorded under his administration.
He observed that before Governor Otti assumed office, many cities and communities across the state grappled with dilapidated roads, devastating floods, abandoned public infrastructure and prolonged darkness.
He noted that the ongoing infrastructural renewal, urban regeneration, improved educational environment and renewed confidence in governance have dramatically changed the narrative across Aba, Umuahia and other parts of the state.
The Echezona State Chairman stressed that such achievements should neither be forgotten nor taken for granted, urging members of the organization to remain active ambassadors of the Governor’s developmental strides by continuously engaging residents at the grassroots and enlightening them on the ongoing transformation across the state.
He further maintained that supporting Governor Otti’s vision requires more than words, adding that active participation in organizations like Echezona provides citizens with an opportunity to contribute to the consolidation of the administration’s achievements and sustain the momentum of development.
Looking ahead to the 2027 general election, Hon. Amaku called on all eligible residents of Abia State to register and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), stressing that the PVC remains the only constitutional instrument through which they would re-elect Governor Alex Chioma Otti in the 2027 general election to continue his developmental strides in the state.
He expressed optimism that the educational outreach programme would not only put smiles on the faces of hundreds of pupils and students but would also reinforce the organization’s commitment to community development, educational advancement and sustained support for Governor Alex Chioma Otti’s vision of a new Abia.
